Karen Boehme - Beautiful Dreamer

When Karen Boehme and her partner, Don, moved to the Longmont area a few years ago, they knew it was the place to stay! As a mixed-media artist, Karen sees these pieces as representation of the music Don plays locally and the great creative community here that they’ve become part of. Through “dimensional collage” Karen hand assembles layers of different found materials, such as metal, paper, wood, and items collected over the years. Each object she includes finds new life as it contributes to the story of a finished piece. “I aim to keep things out of the waste stream by including items with inspiration and meaning to create a visual story. I hope that each piece I create carries a very personal message for others too!”. This creation is for sale for $250.
